AIRStream is built to help banks structure and submit granular data in the format required for regulatory reporting, and it is designed to support a smooth transition to Project STREAM, BNM's initiative to modernise regulatory data collection by eliminating reporting redundancy. Instead of banks submitting the same data across multiple systems (STATSmart, ESS DSS, CCRIS) in different formats, BNM will collect granular data once and generate all required reports from that single dataset, and AIRStream readies the bank for this ahead of BNM's rollout.

Yes. AIRStream is hosted on Finexus's private data centres as a cloud SaaS model, fully compliant with BNM RMiT CTRAG requirements. It is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, uses AES-256 encryption for data at rest, and each bank is provisioned on a dedicated single-tenant instance with its own segregated database.
Finexus is also certified under ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 9001, PCI 3DS, and SOC 2 Type II, and complies with BNM's RMiT requirements (ISAE 3000). Should the bank identify a security concern, it may be reported directly to Finexus, where it will be escalated and handled by our dedicated security response team.
