JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage IT infrastructure (System, Network, Security)
• Part of a team that manages multiple server rooms and data centers.
• Setup new systems and monitor existing systems
• Perform backup and restore activities
• Harden the systems according to guidelines
• Upgrade and patch systems
• Prepare the system for application to run optimally
• ID, password and host firewall management
• Network switch setup and troubleshooting
• Prepare documentation and checklists
• Automate manual processes whenever possible
• 24 x 7 standby on rotational basis

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess at least Diploma in Information Technology or any related fields
• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
• Background in Linux
• Methodical and logical
• Good grasp of client server environment and TCP/IP
• Experience in SQL and shell scripting will be an added advantage
• Familiarity with Java, Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server is a plus
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Highly motivated to explore new technologies
• Willing to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Possess own transport and valid driving license
