As a UI/UX Designer at Finexus Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for providing expertise in UI/UX, creative design, and web development to various company departments. This includes offering consultation, supplying relevant assets, and supporting other departments’ development projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Develop UI/UX design solutions to address user and business problems and bring them to market.
• Execute all visual design stages, from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Possess strong conceptual abilities and expertise in the Design Sprint process.
• Ability to translate brand strategy into powerful creative concepts and storylines.
• Experience in creating websites and apps, conducting UX research, and designing wireframes, graphic elements, and visual treatments.
• A self-starter who identifies pain-points, gaps, opportunities, and areas of improvement.
• Understand usability and accessibility principles based on web standards.
• Knowledge of developers’ capabilities for web and mobile app development.
• Ability to rapidly ideate and produce multiple UI/UX concepts.
• Strong knowledge of visual design, visual theory, layout design, and an affinity for the latest design trends and new media.
• Someone who enjoys solving complex problems through design and can communicate effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proven experience designing for cross-platform experiences (iOS, Android, Web interface).
• Ownership of UI kits and design systems, with expertise in modern interface design tools (Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD) to create detailed interactive prototypes showcasing flows, interactions, and animations.
• Design innovative and user-centric product experiences aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze data and collaborate with the team to create personas.
• Facilitate workshops for discovery, ideation, and prototyping.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
• Conduct user research and interviews to understand customer pain points and develop customer-centric solutions.
• Design UX flows, prototypes, and supporting documents to effectively communicate design approach.
• Validate designs through usability testing and propose recommendations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Graphic Design/Fine Arts or a related field.
• Knowledge of software, platforms, and technologies, including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• 3-5 years of experience working as a UIUX designer or in a similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile solutions, along with the ability to demonstrate your design process and thinking.
