Application Support Executive


  • Running on 24/7 Shift level 1 application support
  • Identify system issues
  • Liaise with end users to solve any issues experienced
  • Train users on product applications and help them resolve product application issues
  • Work closely with development team to further improve the software or solution based on software support history and feedback from customers


  • Must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field
  • Good Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
  • Experience in Oracle forms development, Linux and Unix environment
  • Java development experience is a plus
  • Experience in setting up, configuring and maintaining of databases, web server, DNS, DHCP, MSSQL, Microsoft ASP/VB/Compact Framework, Microsoft .Net, WebLogic/Java. Infrastructure, Apache Tomcat Web Server/ Apache HTTP Server knowledge is an added advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and fluency written and spoken in English
  • Positive working attitude, self-motivated, innovative and highly responsible team player
  • Good analytical, problem solving, organizational skills, and able to perform trend analysis for related technical issues
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
