JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Running on 24/7 Shift level 1 application support
- Identify system issues
- Liaise with end users to solve any issues experienced
- Train users on product applications and help them resolve product application issues
- Work closely with development team to further improve the software or solution based on software support history and feedback from customers
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field
- Good Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience in Oracle forms development, Linux and Unix environment
- Java development experience is a plus
- Experience in setting up, configuring and maintaining of databases, web server, DNS, DHCP, MSSQL, Microsoft ASP/VB/Compact Framework, Microsoft .Net, WebLogic/Java. Infrastructure, Apache Tomcat Web Server/ Apache HTTP Server knowledge is an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and fluency written and spoken in English
- Positive working attitude, self-motivated, innovative and highly responsible team player
- Good analytical, problem solving, organizational skills, and able to perform trend analysis for related technical issues
- Able to work with minimum supervision
